MAKE Gosport Building Sign

Custom produced Laser Cut signage for a new local Makerspace.

MAKE Gosport were in the final stages of getting ready to open their doors in August ’20 and needed an exterior sign with their branding.

1810 vectorised their main logo and produced proofs for the owners to approve. Once proofs were agreed following a few minor alterations, the pieces were then laser cut ready for mounting on a backboard to fit the existing sign holder on the front of the building.

Next, all pieces were painted and affixed in place before receiving a clear coat for weather protection and final installation on the building.

Custom Carved Named Sign

CNC carved named sign to announce the name of a new child in a unique way at a baby shower.

The piece was made by forming a board from a series of Oak strips glued and planed together. The lettering was engraved using a CNC router using a disney style font. The corners were rounded off to give a more natual appearance and the whole piece was coated with Tung oil to give a strong & durable finish with a deeper natural colour. A wall mount was added to allow the piece to be enjoyed for many years to come.
